use security technology to protect the material and content made
available on our Services. You may not attempt to or to assist any

Source Of Images
Some of the traffic images on this website are sourced from the
Highways Agency’s traffic management cameras on the trunk
road and motorway network in England.
Road Safety
The images must not be viewed whilst driving. In law a person may
be regarded as driving a vehicle whilst the engine is running and
the vehicle is stationary.
Copyright of Images and their Use and
Re-Use
The images are Crown Copyright and are supplied for re-use on this
website by Trafficlink (UK) Ltd with the agreement of the Highways
Agency on behalf of the Secretary of State acting under delegated
licensing authority from the Controller of Her Majesty’s Stationery
Office (HMSO).
The traffic images may only be re-used or copied
to others under Licence by the Secretary of State. Requests to re-use
the images under Licence may be made by completing the on-line application
form on the traffic camera pages of the Agency’s website (www.highways.gov.uk).
The traffic images may however be reproduced free of charge in any
format or medium provided they are reproduced for research private
study or internal circulation within an organisation subject to
their being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context.
Objectives of Providing the Images to
the Public and Feedback
The Secretary of State licenses the re-use of traffic images from
the Highway’s Agency’s traffic management cameras to
provide traffic information to the public in support of better journey
planning and more reliable journeys.

ITV REGIONAL NEWS COMMENT LINE GUIDELINES
Viewers can send in their comments, where stated, to the ITV Regional news programme (the ‘programme’) by SMS text, email and/or phone, as specified in the programme. Please note it is not possible to end in comments via the website or post.
SMS: Each SMS text message costs 25 pence plus one standard network rate reply message. The total cost will be dependent on your mobile network. You may opt out of receiving any marketing communications from ITV in any bounceback message by adding the word NOINFO after the keyword as specified in the programme.
Phone: Each telephone call costs 10 pence per minute up to a maximum charge of 20 pence from a BT landline. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
Where the number to be dialled as stated in the programme is a freephone number, there is no charge for such calls when dialling from a BT landline. However, calls to such freephone numbers from a mobile phone or other networks will cost considerably more dependent on the voter's network.
Please ask permission from the bill payer before dialling and please dial carefully and sensibly. There will be no refunds for the cost of any text or phone calls made or for any misdialled phone numbers, shortcodes or misspelt keywords.
Email: there is no charge for comments via email, subject to the viewer’s internet access charges.
Where the comment lines are opened and closed as specified on the programme phone calls made, or SMS texts and/or emails sent or received outside of these specified times will not be considered for inclusion in the programme, and you may still be charged where applicable. Comment line times are liable to change and ITV may suspend, withdraw or re-set the comment line at its sole discretion at any time.
You may comment as many times as you like, and from anywhere in the United Kingdom.
ITV may modify your comments, or may accept it, or refuse to display your comment at any time in their sole and absolute discretion. (MMS) & Email Terms and Conditions for ITV News (“ITV”)
1. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to you if you choose to
send to ITV MMS photographs, pictures and/or video footage of you
or another person either using your own or another person's mobile
phone or e-mail for use in the ITV News programme (the “Programme”
which shall include any re-edited re-formatted or compilation versions
of the Programme known by any title).
2. Viewers can send a photo, picture or video via:
(i) a MMS text message to the number 63332 containing their photo,
name and location, with the following keyword as the first word
of the message (depending on which ITV region they live in).

E-mail entry is free, subject to the entrant’s internet access
arrangements.
3. By sending us your photo, you agree that ITV can broadcast, publish
and edit the photo and pass it onto others for similar use by all
means and in any media worldwide in perpetuity, without any payment
being due to you. Please do not submit your contribution unless
you accept this.
4. You must own the copyright of any photo you submit.
5. You must get the permission of all the people shown in the photo
before submitting it. If the photo features children aged under
16, you must get the permission of their parents also. If the photo
is taken on private property (e.g. inside someone’s house),
you must get the permission of the owner of the property.
6. You should not endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary
risks or infringe any laws to obtain photos.
7. You should not submit photos of any artworks, photos or other
copyright works, any logos or other commercial references, or anything
that might reasonably be deemed to be harmful or offensive.
8. By sending us your photo you warrant that its use by ITV will
not breach another person’s privacy, copyright or any other
legal right.
9. Photos, pictures and videos received will be judged by staff
in the relevant ITV News room, who will then select which photos,
pictures and videos (if any) to broadcast.
10. In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute
concerning the operation of the mode of entry the decision of ITV
shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The mode of entry may, from time to time,
be affected by events outside our control. ITV accepts no responsibility
for any failure to accept/send entries due to network performance
or due to any other event outside our control or for entries that
are incomplete or incomprehensible. ITV makes no guarantee of MMS
or other access to the service.
12. By submitting a photo, you agree to your name being used in
publicity by ITV and to participate in such publicity as required.
This can be in any media worldwide without notice or without any
fee being paid.
13. ITV accepts no liability for any loss
or damage howsoever arising from the submission of your photo whether
due to any error, omission or other cause by us, our employees,
agents, or others to the fullest extent permitted by law. Save for
death or personal injury arising from our negligence or fraudulent
misrepresentation the maximum amount of our liability to you in
any circumstances shall be the amount paid by you and received by
us due to the submission of your photo.
14. Personal data which is provided by you as an entrant when you
enter will be held and used by ITV plc and its suppliers and contractors
in order to administer the use of the picture and contact the entrant
if necessary. Entrants' personal data may also be passed to their
cellular phone provider or to relevant regulatory bodies, the police
or other authorities in the course of the investigation of any complaints
or suspected unlawful activity or where requested by the phone provider
in connection with the billing arrangements for the competition.
Aggregate, non personal data may also be used for the purpose of
undertaking market research or in facilitating reviews, developments
and improvements to relevant services.
15. MMS entrants may also be offered the opportunity to subscribe
to ITV’s mobile services. Before doing so, entrants should
refer to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy at www.itv.com/itvi.
16. These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by
and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of England
and Wales and entrants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts of England and Wales in respect of any matter arising
hereunder.
